June Events
Race to Dayton
Saturday, June 27 | 8 AM Start
The start is between the Rock and the Water Tower at 8 AM. Take your own time at the finish line in Dayton. We’ve been told we can tie up in Dayton. Bring your own food and beverages.
Trestle to Trestle
Sunday, June 28 | 8 AM
Pancake breakfast at Dayton Yacht Harbor at 8 AM for racers. The start will be between the end of the docks and the buoy or mark boat. at 10 AM Finish line between the Rock and the southernmost Trestle in Somers. Take your own time.
July Events
Friday, July 3 | Supper & Sail
Have supper at the club with your fellow sailors, then go sailing when the wind comes up. Enjoy the fireworks in Somers Bay after dark.
Camping is encouraged.
4th of July!
- 8 am – Long Distance Race to Angel Point and back
- 1 PM – Boat Parade, Dinner, Kids Games
Stay and watch the fireworks afterward. Camping is encouraged!

Saturday, May 16 | 9 AM – until the work is done
Join us for the annual Spring Work Party and Slip Auction. Bring your work gloves, tools, and a good attitude!
The Slip Auction will take place once all our chores are done.
Coffee and light snacks provided in the morning, a taco bar will be served for lunch.
Boat Naming Ceremony: Coordinators: Dick and Gayle Graf -have boat name and old graphics off boat. We will purge the previous name, and rename your boat in the Leger of the Deep by invoking and paying homage to the Rulers of the Deep with champagne offerings.
Cruisers Workshop: On the Water training (man over board and heaving to drills, anchoring practice, pump-out station etc).
